To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how much Government funding (a) was spent in the last 12 months and (b) is planned to be spent in the next 12 months on construction work at the former RAF base at Finningley; on what basis Defence Estates is procuring construction work at the former RAF base at Finningley; what work is to be carried out by Defence Estates at the former RAF base at Finningley.

[118689] Dr. Moonie: The RAF Finningley site was sold to Peel Holdings in June 1999, at which point my Department ceased to have any involvement with it. No central government funding has been spent in the last 12 months on construction work at the former RAF Finningley, nor will be spent in the next 12 months.
