Mr. Cox: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what plans he has to extend the list of items inspected in the annual motor vehicle MOT test. [117136] Mr. Hill: We have no plans at present to introduce any additional items for inspection into the annual roadworthiness test although the whole issue of MOT testing is kept under review.
