Mr. Bercow: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions if he will make a statement on the expected reduction in debt in 2001-02 from cases of overpayment. [18987] Malcolm Wicks: The amount of new debt recorded from April to October 2001 was 14 per cent. lower than the same period in 2000-01.
