- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what is the short-term and long-term future of (a) HMS `Birmingham' and (b) HMS `London'; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hancock: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the short-term and long-term future of (a) HMS Birmingham and (b) HMS London; and if he will make a statement. [86374] Mr. Doug Henderson: HMS London was decommissioned earlier this month. HMS Birmingham is currently on operational duty and is expected to be decommissioned later this year.
