To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, whether Mr John Robinson asked him for a letter of comfort for Railtrack at the meeting on 25th July. - Ref to supplementary note of the meeting of 25 July in Library (Dep 02/214).

Chris Grayling: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions whether Mr. John Robinson asked him for a letter of comfort for Railtrack at the meeting on 25 July. [20420] Mr. Jamieson: I refer the hon. Member to the supplementary note of the meeting of 25 July, which was provided to the Transport Sub-Committee of the Select Committee on Transport. Local Government and Regional Affairs and which has been placed in the Library of the House.
