Dr. Julian Lewis: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent assessments his Department has (a) made and (b) received of links between Iraq and the bin Laden organisation. [17254] Mr. Bradshaw: Al-Qaeda has contacts in several countries outside Afghanistan. We have no convincing information that any regime other than the Taliban supports al-Qaeda.
