To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what the total value of (i) government assistance and (ii) Lottery assistance since 1997 has been in cash and real terms to (a) opera companies, (b) ballet companies, (c) classical orchestras and (d) popular music groups; and if he will make a statement. - Inc fact that Minister for the Arts will write and place copy of letter in Library.
