Matthew Taylor: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the proportion of public services demonstrating an improvement in productivity in each year since March 1999. [3811] Mr. Andrew Smith: The Government are on course to meet targeted efficiency improvements covering well over half of public spending (excluding transfers).
