To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the waiting list was for those waiting for hip replacement operations on the NHS in the North West in each of the years from 1997 to date; what the cost of a hip replacement operation in the North West was in each of the years from 1997 to date. - We do not collect procedure specific waiting list information.

Mr. Evans: To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) what the waiting list was for those waiting for hip replacement operations on the NHS in the north-west in each of the years from 1997 to date; [160086] (2) what the cost of a hip replacement operation in the north-west was in each of the years from 1997 to date.
