Mr. Pickles: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what plans he has to make a statement on the easing of livestock movement in the Brentwood area of Essex; and what conditions must be met before such a statement can be made. [157956] Ms Quin: The infected are around Brentwood was lifted on 24 April 2001. This means that the Brentwood area becomes an `at risk area' and farmers can now apply for licences to move their livestock to other similar areas in the country under the livestock movement schemes.
