Mr. Hendrick: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on progress on the Tornado GR4 mid life update. [159242] Mr. Spellar: I am pleased to announce that following further development work and extensive trials, the GR4 with improved software achieved a Military Aircraft Release on 10 April. We expect shortly to deploy the GR4 operationally.
