Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many and what proportion of those aged over 65 years received flu vaccinations in Shrewsbury and Atcham this winter; and if he will make a statement. - Inc figures.

Answer: Mr. Paul Marsden: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many and what proportion of those aged over 65 years received flu vaccinations in Shrewsbury and Atcham this winter; and if he will make a statement. [156497] Yvette Cooper: Final monitoring figures received from the flu co-ordinator for Shropshire Health Authority at the end of December 2000, reported that 67 per cent. of those aged 65 and over received a flu immunisation. This is 7 percentage points higher than the national target of 60 per cent. coverage set at the start of the campaign.
