Mr. Quentin Davies: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence when the RAF Tornado GR4 upgrade programme will be complete; and how many GR4s will then be available for operations. [143334] Dr. Moonie: On current plans, the RAF Tornado GR4 upgrade programme will be completed by February 2003 when all 142 upgraded aircraft will be available for operational deployment.
