Question: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, what assessment he has made of the implications of the development of a Worcester Parkway railway station for (a) car use and (b) rail use; and if he will make a statement.

Answer: Mr. Luff: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what assessment he has made of the implications of the development of a Worcester Parkway railway station for (a) car use and (b) rail use; and if he will make a statement. [144506] Mr. Hill: The proposal for Worcester Parkway railway station is at a very early stage. Worcestershire county council is preparing initial assessments of both car and rail demand for a new station.
