To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, if he or his predecessors have signed an agreement to lease land adjacent to Crickhowell House in Cardiff for use as a site for the National Assembly Building. - Inc figs.

Mr. Wigley: To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he or his predecessors have signed an agreement to lease land adjacent to Crickhowell House in Cardiff for use as a site for the National Assembly Building. [73620] Mr. Michael: A lease has been signed for a parcel of land of approximately one acre which comprises one half of plot 1E adjacent to Crickhowell House for a term of 150 years from 29 September 1998.
