To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what funding is being made available for Healthy Living centres with a focus on tackling obesity. - Including figures.

Chris Grayling: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what funding is being made available for Healthy Living centres with a focus on tackling obesity. [144567] Miss Melanie Johnson: The information requested is as follows: 114 healthy living centres (167 in the United Kingdom) are providing activities covering diet and nutrition and 207 healthy living centres (282 in the UK) are offering physical and sporting activities, which contribute to tackling obesity and which support other significant preventive health objectives such as reducing the risk of cancer and type- two diabetes.
