Mr. Evans: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many general practitioner fundholders there are in (a) the North West and (b) England. [134892] Mr. Hutton: General practice fundholding was abolished on 1 October 1999. There are no general practitioner practices in the North West nor in England operating as GP fundholders.
