Mrs. Dunwoody: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if the Government will take into account Sea Containers' punctuality record when evaluating the company's request for a franchise extension for the East Coast main line. [73090] Dr. Reid: As I announced at the rail summit on 25 February, the track record of franchisees will be one of the factors in considering proposals for renegotiation.
