Answer

Annabelle Ewing: To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport if she will list Sewel motions passed by the Scottish Parliament since May 1999 that apply to her Department's responsibilities and Government bills she has sponsored. [120691] Mr. Caborn: Of the bills sponsored by this Department, the Culture and Recreation Bill was the subject of a Sewel Motion in the Scottish Parliament (passed on 8 March 2001). This bill, however, did not go on to receive Royal Assent. No other bills sponsored by the Department have been the subject of a Sewel motion.
