To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department, how many immigration adjudicators are (a) part-time and (b) full-time; and how many vacancies there are. - Figures given.

Keith Vaz: To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department how many immigration adjudicators are (a) part-time and (b) full-time; and how many vacancies there are. [103219] Ms Rosie Winterton: There are 146 salaried and 454 fee-paid immigration adjudicators. There are no vacancies, but 30 salaried appointments are pending.
