- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the impact on the operational effectiveness of British contingents in UN peace keeping missions of the deployment of forces to the Gulf.

Mr. Burstow: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what assessment he has made of the impact on the operational effectiveness of British contingents in UN peacekeeping missions of the deployment of forces to the Gulf. [92953] Mr. Ingram: We do not expect the deployment forces to the Gulf to affect the operational effectiveness of British contingents in UN peacekeeping missions.
