- To ask the Deputy Prime Minister, what reasons underlie the delay in awarding firefighters with their Golden Jubilee medals; and if he will make a statement. - There is no delay. The schedule agreed with the Royal Mint when the contract was extended to include emergency services, provided for the issue to be completed by June 2003.
