Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, when he will publish the Appropriation Accounts for 2001-02. - Includes figures. (Holding answer 16 January 2003).

Answer: Mr. Jenkin: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence when he will publish the Appropriation Accounts for 2001-02. [91460] Mr. Ingram: In accordance with the Government Resource Accounting Act 2000 the Department's financial performance is reported to Parliament in the Consolidated Departmental Resource Accounts. The 2001-02 Accounts were laid on 21 November 2002 (HC47). Copies are available in the Library of the House. The Appropriation Accounts for 2000-01 were the last in that form.
