Tim Loughton: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what priorities he has set for the National Director for Mental Health, with particular reference to the implementation of patient choice. [203217] Ms Rosie Winterton: No specific priorities in relation to patient choice have been set for the national director for mental health. However, he has been involved in overseeing the work of the choice steering group, which has been established under the auspices of the National Institute for Mental Health in England, to inform the development of choice policy in mental health.
