To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in which European Union member states British immigration officers inspect the passports of passengers seeking to travel to the United Kingdom; and if he will make a statement.

Tom Cox: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in which European Union member states British immigration officers inspect the passports of passengers seeking to travel to the United Kingdom; and if he will make a statement. [201628] Mr. Browne: UK immigration officers are deployed to the Eurostar Terminal in Brussels, Belgium and in France at both ferry ports and channel tunnel ports. Channel Tunnel Ferry Ports Coquelles Calais Frethun Lille Paris Ferry Ports Calais Ferryport Calais Hoverport Boulogne Dunkerque At all these locations Immigration Officers mount a full immigration control (which includes the inspection of all passports) for those passengers seeking to travel to the UK.
