To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, if she will bring forward legislation to make British Summer Time permanent and end the biannual time change.

Mr. Dhanda: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if she will bring forward legislation to make British summer time permanent and end the biannual time change. [201793] Mr. Sutcliffe: The Government has no plans to alter the present summer time arrangements, but we shall continue to listen to the arguments for and against change.
