- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, what assessment her Department has made of alternatives to nickel-cadmium batteries for uses that (a) require reliability and high discharge and charge rates and (b) need to operate at low temperatures. - It has not proved possible to respond to the hon. Member in the time available before Prorogation.
