Mr. Salmond: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what measures are in place to monitor civilian casualties in Iraq. [195986] Mr. Rammell: I have been asked to reply. The Iraqi Ministry of Health began collating figures from hospital admissions in April 2004. These figures show that just under 4,000 civilians have been killed in the last six months.
