Mrs. Curtis-Thomas: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what assessment has been made of the possible merits of a merger between the inspectorates of constabulary, prisons and probation. [194908] Paul Goggins: The Government will consult early in the new year on more coherent arrangements for the end to end inspection of the criminal justice system.
