Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will make a statement on the list published in the Iraqi newspaper al-Moda of those accused of corruption at the UN during the Oil for Food Programme in Iraq.

Answer: Hugh Robertson: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the list published in the Iraqi newspaper al-Moda of those accused of corruption at the UN during the Oil for Food Programme in Iraq. [190922] Mr. Rammell: Allegations of corruption of the United Nations Oil for Food Programme are being investigated by the independent high-level inquiry appointed by the United Nations Secretary General in April 2004. We fully support the inquiry. It would be premature to comment on the allegations until the inquiry has reported its findings.
