Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills, how much of the budget from modern apprenticeships in (a) 2005-06 and (b) 2006-07 is allocated to businesses to convert their existing training for young workers into modern apprenticeships; and what proportion that represents in each of those financial years of the total training allocation for modern apprenticeships. - This is a matter for the Learning and Skills Council, Mark Haysom, the Council's Chief Executive will write.
