Mr. Moss: To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport how much her Department spent on (a) mobile telephones and (b) hospitality in (i) 1997-98 and (ii) the latest year for which figures are available. [184407] Mr. Caborn: The information requested is contained in the following table. All expenditure on official hospitality is made in accordance with published departmental guidance on financial procedures and propriety, based on principles set out in Government guidance. In 2002-03 changes were made in the way hospitality expenditure was captured to include associated staff costs following the contracting out of the hospitality service.
