Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, how much money was received by central Government funds in 2003 in Northern Ireland in fines paid by motorists who were prosecuted for speeding as a result of the location of fixed cameras. - Inc figure.

Answer: Mr. Gregory Campbell: To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Department for Constitutional Affairs how much money was received by central Government funds in 2003 in Northern Ireland in fines paid by motorists who were prosecuted for speeding as a result of the location of fixed cameras. [169760] Mr. Leslie: Between 1 July 2003, when the fixed speed camera initiative commenced and 31 December 2003, the money received in fines paid by motorists prosecuted for speeding as a result of the location of fixed cameras was £412,223.
