Mr. Pike: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people in Burnley are receiving drug treatment. [168319] Miss Melanie Johnson: Information on the number of people receiving drug treatment on a constituency basis is not gathered centrally. In 2000-01, there were a total of 2,874 people receiving drug treatment in the are covered by the drug action team for Lancashire. These are the latest available data. Data broken down by drug action team for 2001-02 and 2002-03 have not yet been finalised and published. Source: Department of Health Statistics
