Question: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what facilities are granted to the US Department of Homeland Security to share information on criminal convictions required for the vetting of UK citizens on their entry to the US under the visa waiver scheme. - (Holding answer 10 February 2004).

Answer: Mr. Luke: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what facilities are granted to the US Department of Homeland Security to share information on criminal convictions required for the vetting of UK citizens on their entry to the US under the visa waiver scheme. A request for such information on an individual basis may be considered by the police.
