- Further to the Answer of the Baroness Denton of Wakefield on 12 February, 534 c32-34WA, whether it is the case that, although the Leicester Diocesan Board of Education was incorporated by the 1955 Measure, its powers were expressly confined by Section 1, subsection (1) of the 1955 Measure to "such rights, powers, duties and obligations as are vested in the Committee by this measure" and did not extend to any power to acquire land or to be a trustee.
