Tom Brake: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many community support officers will be in post in the London borough of Sutton by the end of March 2004. [146000] Ms Blears: The allocation of Community Support Officers (CSOs) within the Metropolitan Police Service is a matter for the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. The Commissioner has informed me that he plans to deploy 17 CSOs in Sutton by the end of March 2004.
