To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment he has made of reports that security forces in Sudan opened fire upon civilian protesters from the Beja community in Port Sudan on 29th January. - Ref to 9 February 2005 430 c1557-8W and 16 February 2005 431 c33W.

Mr. Bercow: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment he has made of reports that security forces in Sudan opened fire upon civilian protesters from the Beja community in Port Sudan on 29 January.
