Mr. Dismore: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how many teachers of modern foreign languages there were in secondary schools in each of the last five years; and if she will make a statement. [207935] Mr. Stephen Twigg: The following table shows the number of full-time foreign language teachers in maintained secondary schools as at November of 1996 and 2002.
