To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, which Government departments and agencies use open source software procurement; and what the total value was of open source software procured by Government in 2004. - The information is not held centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.

Dr. Cable: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer which Government Departments and agencies currently use open source software procurement; and what the total value was of open source software procured by Government in 2004.
