Statement that "I strongly deprecate any defiance of the Chair in a Standing Committee, whatever the alleged justification for such conduct. I am most grateful to the Chairman of the Committee for dealing so calmly with the deliberate disruption of the Committee, in what must have been a difficult situation" in response to point of order from Mr Roger Gale, reporting the grave disorder in Standing Committee F on 7 March and its adjournment without putting the Question, the conduct of various non Members of the Committee and their reporting to the House.
