European Council, 16–17 June

My Lords, it is a little early to ask me to answer that question. If the noble Lord looks again at the Statement, he will see that we identify a number of areas—for example, education, R&D, and science and technology—in which it is important to increase the support and funding, if we are talking about a Europe fit for the 21st century.
