Does my right hon. Friend agree that much of what the right hon. Member for Wokingham (Mr. Redwood) said was typical Conservative hot air? Does my right hon. Friend know that, on 2 December, the right hon. Member for West Dorset (Mr. Letwin), the then shadow Chancellor, promised me ““a very long list”” of regulations that a Conservative Government would do away with? He also told me subsequently that the right hon. Member for Wokingham, as shadow Deregulation Minister, would produce that list in January. I am not aware until tonight that we have seen even a scintilla of that list. We are still waiting for the very long list. It is hot air.
