Proceeding contribution from Lord Hylton (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Monday, 11 July 2005. It occurred during Ministerial statement on G8: 2005 Summit.
G8: 2005 Summit
My Lords, did I hear the noble Baroness the Leader of the House say that the European Union and the United States have agreed to end their agricultural export subsidies by 2010? If so, I suggest that that is even more important than increasing aid and debt relief. Secondly, will the Government study the letter from the noble Lord, Lord Ezra, which is published in today’s Times and makes five very feasible points about energy and emissions?
