Proceeding contribution from Lord Northbourne (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 11 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Children and Adoption Bill [HL].
Children and Adoption Bill [HL]
Perhaps I may comment on what the noble Lord has just said about ““time””. It is not only time; it is also roots; and it is also sleepovers. You can have quite a lot of time on Saturday afternoons in an agonising session when you do not quite know what to do, but if a child, for example, has his own room in each of his parent’s houses, that makes a huge difference to the child’s feeling of relating to both parents. That kind of thing also ought to be taken into account very seriously.
