Proceeding contribution from Lord Grantchester (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 26 October 2005. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Avian Flu.
Avian Flu
My Lords, I beg your pardon. In considering the regulations on exporting birds into the EU, can the situation in the country of origin be looked at and further checks and assessments made in the country of origin? The pre-entry requirements from other countries could be looked at to reduce the risk.
