Proceeding contribution from Lord Hanningfield (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 22 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Road Safety Bill [HL].
Road Safety Bill [HL]
My Lords, we on these Benches very much support this amendment. I need add nothing to what the noble Lord, Lord Bradshaw, said. It seems an anomaly that the relevant measure does not apply where the speed limit is 30 miles an hour in urban areas. We support the amendment.
