Proceeding contribution from Baroness Anelay of St Johns (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 14 December 2005. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Identity Cards Bill.

Identity Cards Bill

I am grateful for the clarity of the Government’s answer. I certainly look forward to seeing those amendments. I am a trifle surprised that the Government have not been able to write to the chair of the Select Committee as yet. However, I do not know what the normal timetable is, so it may be that it falls into the usual procedure. I look forward to seeing the amendments. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
