Proceeding contribution from Baroness Scotland of Asthal (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 14 December 2005. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Identity Cards Bill.
Identity Cards Bill
I know it was foolish of me, but I thought the noble Lord might want to give some reason why he thought that this was an appropriate amendment. Of course, it is an unreasoned amendment and, therefore, maybe I should say that it is unnecessary and the clause is sound.
