Identity Cards Bill

My Lords, I add one thought on the amendment that I support wholeheartedly. When we discussed the Children Bill, I recall quite correctly that there was a great deal of debate on the definition of the age that applies to children. A child can be 50 years old—that is the way in which mental disablement works. There is a serious issue involved here and I hope that the Government address properly that issue in respect of ID cards.
